1. Accountabilities and Responsibilities

– Stake holder Management

– Conduct meetings, publish status reports, Manage escalations,

2 Project Management

– Ensure on time delivery of all commitments made from code/functionality perspective

– Manage and mitigate project risks

3 Resource Management

– Plan manpower deployment (ramp up and ramp down)


1.Manage the expectations of senior leadership in ESSAR

2.Manage and motivate the team and ensure knowledge capture and sharing within the team


A.Made by Jobholder:

1.Code deployment in consultation with impacted stakeholders

2.Design changes and implementations under the guidance of the COE

3.Tracking of budgeted efforts and provide data for invoicing through the Timesheet system.

B.Recommendations to superior:

1.Risk analysis and mitigations

2.Manpower planning (team ramup and rampdown)

3.Periodic updates on escalations pertaining to EGCFC


A.Internal Interactions:

1.With EBS leadership on above points

2.With business CIO and GCO on governance matters

B.External Interactions:

1.Interactions with product vendors on software issues


A.Financial Dimensions:

– Tracking of efforts and productivity of the team

– Providing data for billing by the 5th of every month.

B.Team Size:

1.Team size managed would be around 15


A.Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

1.Must be a chartered accountant

B.Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:

1. Relevant Experience: >5 years

2. Total Experience: > 5 years

C.Functional Skills:

– Consolidation of accounts, Knowledge on accounting standards; IGAAP, IFRS etc

– Experience in implementation of any software for consolidation; preferably HFM.

D.Behavioural Skills:

Leadership and communications skills
