National Sales Manager (FMCG Products) @ Chennai

* Our client boasts of pioneering brands in the segments of spices & sports. There exists every possibility for these brands experiencing growth, exponentially. They are looking for candidates , who share the outlook of the company & bring to life its vision of complete domination.
* They require candidates , having entrepreneurial instincts & an inherent understanding of the brands & the markets they operate in.
* They are looking for candidates , working in FMCG domain , originally from South & presently working in rest of part India & want to re-locate themselves back to South India.

They have three divisions:

Sports Goods : Rubber balls have ruled the roost in playing fields all over the states. Having proved its mettle both in cities & villages, the brand has tremendous growth potential
Spices : The flagship brand of Masalas, has been a part of South Indias culinarylandscape for over a century since 1895 They are set its sights high & is eyeing an all-India presence, since it deals with brands that have the potential to become a part of every household in the country.
Trade : Camphor & Allied products

Qualification & Experience: The Successful Applicant should be MBA from a Tier- I / Tier- II business school , with Min 10 + years in a reputed FMCG company , with National sales responsibilities

Age: Less than 40 years.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:-

UG: Any Graduate – Any Specialization
PG: MBA/PGDM – Advertising/Mass Communication, Marketing
Doctorate: Any Doctorate, Doctorate Not Required

Role:

* The National Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering targeted growth oriented top line business results at the lowest cost & enable the delivery of targeted market shares & profitability for the companys products.
* The role calls for abilities to deliver competitively superior Customer Satisfaction, retail & Distribution Performance, Sales Organization/ Systems & Selling Cost structures.

Responsibilities:

P&L responsibilities:-

* To set long term objectives , Business planning & key performance targets
* Should have in-depth experience of traditional trade & broad sales experience (key account management, sales planning, trade marketing, channel management).
* Being up to date with Emerging trends in market (in terms of products & preferences)
* Responsible for Expand distribution by strengthening route to market, both direct & indirect
* Developing a thorough understanding of the values, strategies & policies of the customer & anticipating future direction & needs in order.
* Identify opportunities & development of Business plan
* Strong operational experience & experience of leading projects from development to final delivery.
* Appointing Channel Network including Modern Trade
* Branding the products
* Monitoring primary & secondary sales & stocks
* Team Management
* Report to top management for business progression.
* Keep a tab on pricing structures, gross margin & profitability.
