Payroll Assistant Job Description:

For Iraq this is reporting to Payroll Supervisor based in Dubai
For Saudi this is reporting to Payroll Manager based in Qatar
Both candidates would be sitting in our Mumbai office

We can say Salary package @ INR 30 to 35K Net monthly

Purpose of role:
To provide accurate and timely processing of company payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
End to end checking of timesheets (Weekly,Fortnightly and/or Monthly).
Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data.
Thorough & Vigilant checking of timesheets to ensure no data mistake
Zero or no Tolerance error in payroll & payment
Processing Payments in Bank Website
Arranging & Supporting Back up for Invoices to be delivered for Client
Updating and maintaining payroll records.
Liaising with contractors and management on payroll related queries.
Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations.
Payroll administration & Payroll related Transfers.
Assisting Payroll Supervisor with month end consolidation.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Assisting the Payroll Supervisor for Various Reports as & when needed

Competencies Required:
Demonstrated payroll processing experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Numerical ability and data entry skills.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Understanding of payroll legislation and processes
Ability to interpret awards and relevant legislation.
Customer service focus.
Pro-active with a can do attitude to tasks and issues that arise.
Focus on process improvements and efficiencies, including improved use of IT systems.
Willingness to get involved in detailed processing, especially initially, to ensure excellent service delivery.

Qualification & Skills:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2- 3 years experience in Payroll & Accounting Department
Must have thorough knowledge in accounting including
Prior experience in payroll processing will be an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good Knowledge of MS Excel and experience in accounting packages
