Tele Sales Consultant – Lead Generation ( Sales )

Roles and responsibilities 

The Role
NowFloats Technologies is looking for a Tele Sales Consultant who will contribute in supporting the sales team in generating more business for the company. Consultant will be responsible for generating leads through multiple sources, working closely with sales team for coordinating customer meetings till the sales closure. The ideal incumbent is aware of the current market trends in Saas/SMB sales, emerging customer and consumer behavior and is an early adopter of technology.

The Job Definition
Responsible for achieving and frequently exceeding sales targets, client acquisition, cross-selling & maintaining client relationships resulting in customer retention/renewals and word of mouth referrals over the phone. 

Leads Customer Journey

  • Actively maintains and expands client database in the SMB Sales and Saas based product sales in various verticals like hospitality, healthcare, retail, manufacturing.
  • Source potential customers through multiple methods and not restricted to google search, telephone directories, customer online databases, etc.
  • Researches and plans for customer meetings over the phone on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Keep a customer centric approach at the customer meetings, follow the set protocol and focus on customer delight.
  • Follows up regularly with the Customer following the above cycle of preparing for the meeting, following meeting protocols and meeting closure.

Contributes to organization success by taking a disciplined approach to tasks and learning.

  • Review and work on plans to achieve and surpass daily/weekly/monthly client meetings, acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Create a positive brand image/awareness of NowFloats to new prospective clients over the phone.
  • Connect with key people and decision makers over the phone and explain to them how they can set up, manage and grow their business online.
  • Schedule daily appointments for sales team of different verticals, working with them, follow up till the deal is closed.
  • Learn and explore new methods on a daily basis to generate high-quality relevant leads and prospects .
  • Update required information and tasks at a defined frequency.

  • Maintain and encourage a disciplined, timely approach to task update, documentation, communication, and reports.
  • Diligent with administrative activities and operational needs.

  • 2-5 years of proven experience as telesales representative or other sales related role.

  • Effective communicator and negotiator with strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational ability.
  • Management degree is preferred but not a show stopper.
  • Must know the local language.

Required Candidate profile

Experience of generating leads on your own using various sources is mandatory.
