The position will be primarily responsible for managing consumer litigation and disputes and drafting and responding to legal notices, petitions, etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Managing court cases and consumer matters, periodically monitoring the progress of outstanding litigation, liaising with and managing the litigation portfolio with external counsels, regulatory authorities such as police, mediation centres etc.
Drafting and reviewing legal notices and ensuring timely responses to the complaints/grievances escalated with regard consumers.
Briefing and coordinating with external counsels with respect to matters before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums/ law enforcement/public/government agencies.
Liaising with and managing government and regulatory authorities as and when required on litigation matters.
Prioritizing and managing matters in a cost effective manner to get desired results with strategic planning and with the help of external counsel where required.
Monitoring and maintaining MIS on litigations and disputes on a regular basis and reporting to the senior management.
Advising the business teams on strategizing and resolving legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, potential disputes and addressing any government enquires.
Salary: ₹ 7,00,000 - 8,00,000 P.A.
