Medical Science Lead

Drive healthcare professional engagement at the LOC level by collaborating with key medical and scientific experts to gain valuable insight of the unmet consumer and medical needs, and category trends to guide research, development and service provision in a disease area,
Drive the segmentation and implementation of a cross-functional medical multi-channel engagement strategy for the assigned therapy areas.
Identify, map and ensure that all medical engagements are executed in alignment to product life-cycle requirements
Maintain a detailed understanding of the therapy areas and a deep appreciation of the science and evidence for  medicines and other  treatment options in the therapy area.
Fully understand and comply with policies and SOPs, local codes of practice, guidelines and laws to ensure the strictest requirements are met particularly with respect to engagement with healthcare professional and delivery of medical and scientific information.
Lead and support external engagement platforms including advisory boards, educational activities and partnerships with key healthcare associations.
Lead and support the creation of scientific educational content for use both internally and externally.
Support field teams with provision of scientific and health-economic data to support appropriate use of products.
Respond compliantly to unsolicited information requests from healthcare professionals and associated individuals regarding licensed or un-licensed products; ensure all medical information responses are factual, fair and balanced, scientifically rigorous and strictly comply with local regulations.
Disseminate important safety information to the healthcare profession as directed by the Medical Affairs or Research and Development teams or the Dear Healthcare Provider Letter (DHPL) process.
Assist the medical team in the identification of external experts within the therapy area and geography.
Support  study teams with the provision of scientific education and enquiry management from investigators and staff engaged in supported clinical trials e.g. Investigator-Sponsored Studies (ISS).
Provide scientific education training for business.
Support development of partnerships with external organizations like NGOs, insurance & Accreditation bodies
Build and develop purposeful relationships with FOGSI, IAOHNS, IAP, API, etc. for education and research partnerships
