Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

1. Predominantly, to conduct the feasibility studies to assess and estimate the requirement of Materials, approximate time taken and likely Labour costs for the project

2. To Prepare, negotiate and analyse the costs for Tenders, contracts, budgets, Bills of quantities and other Documentation

3. Procure or agree the services of various Vendors and Contractors or Sub-contractors who are likely to be associated with the Project, based on certain terms and conditions

4. Liaise with client and other team members like Project managers, site engineers for greater synergy in operations and execution of the project

5. Measuring the value of work done on site, material reconciliation with actual material consumption, to assess the variation and inform Project Manager/CEO

6. Enabling the payment to be done to sub-contractors

7. Perform Client billing by estimating the quantity and variations for BoQ executed

Skills Required:
– Good at Number crunching and Problem solving
– Excellent relationship building and Interpersonal skills
– Team player and good negotiation skills
– Good attention to detail and methodical approach to work
– Good knowledge of building roads and highways

Requirements:

– Prior work experience of 2-5years in the similar role
– Engineering Graduate or Post Graduate with good Academic credentials
– Knowledge of MS-Projects, MS-Excel and Primavera software
– Clear understanding of various regulations and legal guidelines
